Snellville Art Gallery Opens
In Snellville, Cobble Creek Studios and the James H. Ankrom Gallery, a contemporary art gallery featuring work from national, regional and local artists has announced plans for a grand opening.
The gallery will open Friday, December 3, 2010 with a reception from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. The public is invited to attend the reception & may RSVP by emailing info@deborahkepes.com.

The event will also be an open house of the new Snellville art gallery. You can can view the artist’s studios and classroom. Deborah Ankrom Kepes, director/owner of Cobble Creek Studios & the James H. Ankrom Gallery instructs art classes for all levels and all ages.

Darla Dixon will be auctioning art by silent auction at the Snellville Farmers' Market in front of Snellville City Hall. Michelle Black of A Color Affair will be painting a large scale mural at Trip Elementary School in Grayson, Georgia. Trip Elementary is a newly built school in Gwinnett County, GA. Michelle is donating her time and talent to the school. She worked worked with the librarian for two months on this project. Michelle invites us all to watch as the project progresses.
